Fall 2009 Appeal - West Lethbridge Church Plant |
West Lethbridge is a vibrant, growing community, composed of a mixture of predominantly young families and university students and staff. There are many international students and visiting scholars from all over the world, including countries which are currently closed to the Gospel. We see tremendous opportunity to live out our calling to be salt and light in this area. Currently, in the north half of West Lethbridge (north of Whoop Up Drive) there are over 12,000 people, with several additional new neighbourhoods currently expanding (for example Heritage, Highlands, and Benton Crossing). The only places of worship in this entire northwest quadrant of the city are two Mormon churches. |
