Paul Mutch – December 23, 2011
We are deeply saddened by the death of Paul Mutch on Friday, December 23, 2011. He is survived by his wife Barbara, who is the VP Academic, Charles Bentall Professor of Pastoral Studies and Director of the DMin program at Carey Theological College, sons Caleb and Gabriel, Caleb’s wife Sarah, and his brothers.
A memorial service was held Friday, December 30 at First Baptist Church in Vancouver. If wished, donations may be made to A Rocha Canada or Carey Theological College. Please pray for Paul’s family and friends.

Katharina Dyck – September 30, 2011
On Friday September 30th, 2011, at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Katharina Dyck (nee Reimer), age 82 years of Morden, went to her eternal rest.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband David Dyck of Morden; 2 daughters Mary Wiebe of Niverville, Ann & George Derksen of Morden; 3 sons George & Dorothy Dyck of Niverville; Dave & Laura Dyck of Niverville; Bill & Janice Dyck of Calgary; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Katharina’s son Bill is the Western Canada Manager of Canadian Baptist Ministries.
She was predeceased by 5 daughters; 2 sons; 1 grandson and1 great granddaughter.
Katharina’s funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2pm at the Morden Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with interment at Chapel Cemetery, Morden.
Please pray that God will comfort her family and friends in their loss.

Jake Nickel - July 24, 2011
We mourn the passing of Jake Nickel who died on July 24 at age 85. Jake was the father of Rev. Roy Nickel who was formerly the pastor at High River Baptist and a member of the CBWC’s Alberta Regional Advisory Group. Please pray that God will comfort the family as the grieve their loss. The memorial service will be at First Baptist Church in Lacombe on Friday July 29 at 1 pm.
