CBWC Opportunity Grants provides funding to applicants for “creative and innovative” ministries in Western Canada. The Grants Committee receives applications twice each year and approves grants of up to 5% of the market value of the Opportunity Grant Fund. These grants make ministry possible that may not otherwise be affordable. During the first four years of granting funds in support of new and innovative ministries, over $4 million dollars have been awarded!

History of CBWC Opportunity Grants:

In the early 90’s, Trinity Lodge, a senior’s residence in Calgary, was donated to the CBWC as a gift from the Bentall Family. Several years later, the proceeds of the sale of Trinity Lodge, established the Opportunity Grant Fund. What was once a valuable piece of real estate, has now become a valuable fund providing funding for ministry in the CBWC.
