Darrell and Sharon Johnson are grieving the sudden death of their 28 year old son, Alex. They received news late on Monday, July 20th, that Alex had taken his life. Alex, living in California, enjoyed the outdoors and took great joy in his work serving others. He especially enjoyed the relationships he had with his siblings. Alex faced many life challenges which included living his first 12 years as an orphan in Russia and then sustaining a hiking accident at 18 years of age which resulted in serious head trauma. Alex will be greatly missed by his family and countless others who have befriended him over the years.

Darrell and Sharon welcome the prayers of their new church family. Please also remember their other 3 children, David, Christy and Marissa. Pray for strength, energy and their rest and well being especially as Darrell begins vacation prior to his joining First Baptist Vancouver staff steam as Senior Pastor in September.
