Church Planting Resources
	The Canadian Baptists of Western Canada are committed to connecting people to Jesus Christ. The passion of the Church Planting Team (CPT) is to respond to God’s voice to go into our world, to encourage our existing churches to partner with developing new communities of believers and supporting the planting of new churches as part of a strategic plan to increase Kingdom growth in Western Canada.

The Church Planting Team will work to support a church multiplication movement within our denomination over the next 10 years. Our challenging goal is to triple the number of Canadian Baptist churches in Western Canada by 2020. Yes, that is a total of 336 new churches in 10 years! Go West!

How will we do it? Only with God's help!

The CPT is engaging all of our existing churches in a new movement that calls us to reach outside ourselves and beyond our comfort zones – to reach out and plant new works in our ‘Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the ends of the earth’. We know that church planting works best when existing local churches take the lead with the support of the denomination. The vision and energy for church planting will come from within our existing churches. The Canadian Baptists will assist in providing resources, recruiting and training leaders, coordinating partnerships and offering financial support when necessary.
