How To Get Help
Consultations can be arranged by contacting your regional minister. He will set up a free initial consultation, recommending a consultant skilled in addressing the specific types of challenges your church faces. Whenever possible, the recommended consultant will live close to the requesting church to maximize easy access and minimize expenses.
If you need support in these areas, get in touch with your regional minister Rob Ogilivie in BC/Yukon

Costs
The fee structure for church health consultations is low cost and barrier-free. Fees are charged because our experience shows that consultations that come at a small financial cost are more likely to be taken seriously.
The initial consultation is free. The requesting church needs to cover only the consultant’s out of pocket expenses for travel and accommodation. Accommodation costs can be minimized through billeting.
Consultants charge $250 per day plus their out of pocket expenses. We believe churches will quickly agree this small payment is well worth making because of the great benefits arising from the consultant’s expertise. (In contrast, consultants in business and non-profit sectors routinely charge $1000 + per day.) $200 of this fee goes to the consultant’s home church in gratitude for the church’s willingness to let its pastor work on behalf of other churches. The remaining $50 goes into the consultant’s professional development budget. No money goes to the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada – and there are no additional charges.
