Ordination Examining Council - June 30 to July 1 The Ordination Examining Council will be held at Carey Centre to examine pastoral candidates. Pastor/Pastor & Spouse Retreat - July 1 & 2 Paddy & Carole Ducklow will lead a Pastor/Pastor & Spouse Retreat at the Richmond Sheraton Inn. All pastors and their spouses from across the CBWC, regardless of region, are invited to attend. The theme for this event will be announced shortly and online registration will be available soon. Paddy and Carole Ducklow are change specialists who counsel, coach, consult and conference for churches and organizations in Canada, the US and further afield. Paddy is a Psychologist and Professor at Carey Theological College on the UBC campus, where he is the Erb Gullison Chair of Marriage and Family Ministries. Carole is a Registered Clinical Counsellor. Both work in the churchplace and workplace. BCY/CBWC Gathering - July 2, 3 & 4 The joint BCY/CBWC Gathering will be held at locations around the Lower Mainland. This is a time for Canadian Baptists from all regions to come together for learning, fellowship and worship. No official business will be done at the Gathering, since this is not an official Assembly. Friday, July 2 A day packed with events at the Richmond Sheraton Inn. There will be a Baptist Women’s Luncheon as well as a lunch featuring Jeremy Bell, the CBWC’s Executive Minister. The Convention of BC Baptist Churches will have their annual meeting, followed by a presentation from Paul Pearce on the Beulah Gardens Society. On Friday evening at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Richmond, there will be:
