When I have time I like to watch a show on TV called “The Amazing Race”, where teams compete against each other in local cultural events as they travel to different countries around the world.

This summer the theme at Keats Camps, our church camp located on the Sunshine Coast is “The Great Race”, building on the text in the book of Hebrews where the writer encourages his readers to “run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

For over 80 years Keats has been an important ministry of our churches. Their mission is to proclaim Christ through camping, and to disciple Christian leaders. It’s a great place for kids to have an awesome time, connect with one another, and to hear the relevant good news of Jesus Christ.

There is still space available in many of the camps for this summer. Camper assistance programs are available for those who have a financial need, and there is a discounted rate for pastor’s kids. This is one stop on the race of life that you and your kids won’t want to miss!
