“At Laurier Heights we have two specific types of services – one is our Christmas Eve services.  We’ve also done a number of “Blue Christmas” services (if you’re not familiar with these, we do them on the longest night of the year (Dec 20 or 21) and we simply carve out space for people to come and sit quietly and worship, making room for grief and frustration and memory, putting words to those, pursuing true “joy” in the midst of pain).”
