Life is just too hard to go it alone and as we have become more transient and less connected to our nuclear families, there is a growing need for people to speak into our lives at many levels. Learning to be intentional in relationships is the focus of this two-day experience. Faye Reynolds writes one study each year and Marleen Bahr also offers studies that she produces for her own women's groups. We get very good feedback on the quality of these studies. These retreats help women fulfill their primary desire of connecting to other women and being known by one another. They also encourage women to work in ways that make the church a more effective, caring community. Check our events page for updates at www.womeninfocus.org The Great Canadian Bible Study - Each January, we participate in an annual Bible study with women across Canada as part of a fundraising project for Canadian Baptist Ministries. The study materials are provided for free, but we ask each participant to donate a Toonie or more toward our mission project. From 2012 – 2015 the funds raised will go to support victims of violence and rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This year’s study is called “Crumbs of Grace” and is available on our website under events. Mission Projects - We continue to support Guardians of Hope/Kenya with retreat offerings and church projects. We would encourage you to sponsor a mission event to raise funds for helping women and children affected by HIV/AIDS. Monthly e-letters - Short devotionals are sent out monthly via e-mail to women who request it. It currently has a readership of about 400 women.
